Major solo exhibitions include *Everything Happens for the First Time* (Pola Museum Annex, 2011), *Sounds and Things* (MEM, 2014), *The Sound of the Mountain* (MEM, 2022), and *Shingan: Yanagiya Kenta-ro* (Kanzan Gallery, 2024).
Group exhibitions include “Changing the World from the Streets” (Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, 2013), “Gardens of the World” (Rietberg Museum, 2016), and “Ways of Telling” (Tokyo Metropolitan Park Street Gallery, 2021). In addition to his work as a photographer, he has contributed to magazines and web magazines such as BRUTUS, POPEYE, and Kurashi no Techo, photographed portraits of numerous musicians and celebrities, and written essays. In 2022, he published an essay collection titled The Sound of the Mountain (President Publishing).
