The first zine by néné petit. For the inaugural issue, centered on the theme of “desire,” the project invited creators active in various fields and commissioned them to produce works based on their own interpretations. To bring together a diverse range of expressions in a single volume, once the commissions were issued, the creators were given free rein over the direction of their work without any further editorial control. The contributors span a wide range, including a 10-year-old boy who picked up a camera for the first time, a photographer who has been photographing pigeons, people who love French fries, a photographer who views the male body as a material entity and examines it from a unique perspective, as well as stylists and photographers active in the fashion industry. The title “Image Paper” conveys the idea of printing images directly onto paper, suggesting an accumulation of images. Each issue will have a specific theme, and the series is set to continue.

néné petit による初のZINE。初号では「desire」をテーマに多方面で活動するクリエイターを招聘し、各々の解釈で作品制作を依頼。多様な表現を一冊にまとめるため、クリエイターへの依頼後は内容をコントロールすることなく彼らに方向性を委ねた。コントリビューターは、初めてカメラを手に取った10歳の少年、鳩を撮り続けていた写真家、フライドポテトが好きな人々、男性の身体を物質的存在と捉え独自の視点で見つめる写真家、ファッションで活躍するスタイリストやフォトグラファーなど多岐にわたる。タイトル「Image Paper」はイメージ像をそのまま紙にプリントする、イメージの集積のような意味合いがある。一冊ごとにテーマを設け、今後も続いていく予定。
